Complete Vehicle Diagnostic 314-426-2818 |
Complete vehicle and computer diagnostic on all years, makes, and modelsThere's no questioning every part of today's vehicles continue to grow more and more complex, especially the software and computer systems.
In some cases the software running your modern vehicle contains more programming code than complicated computer programs like Facebook, Windows, and a Boeing 787. At Complete Transmission, we have the tools and equipment necessary to read and diagnose the codes triggered by the various sensors and systems in every automobile make and model. Computer Diagnostic & Check Engine Light Help Nobody likes to see their vehicle's check engine light or maintenance required light turn on, especially because the service required could be very minimal or it could be something major. Before you start worrying, call Complete Transmission and schedule a time for us to perform a complete car diagnostic to identify the source of the check engine light. When we start diagnosing your vehicle, we first read the codes logged by your vehicle's computer systems. We then clear the codes and take your vehicle on a thorough road test. This road test helps ensure the codes thrown by your vehicle are still active issues needing reviewed. Some of the most common causes of check engine lights include faulty oxygen sensor, issues with spark plugs or spark plug wires, problems with the catalytic converter or exhaust system, or as simple as a loose gas cap. No matter the problem, you can trust our certified, highly experienced mechanics to identify the problem, work with you so you also understand what's wrong with your automobile, and repair your car in a timely and affordable manner. Emissions Testing Every one or two years, the State of Missouri requires almost all vehicles to undergo a thorough emissions test. This emissions test checks both your vehicle's emission of various gasses as well as a check for unsafe levels of smog emitted by your vehicle. Per state law, if you live in the city of St. Louis county, St. Charles county, Franklin county or Jefferson County, your vehicle must pass the state emissions test. If your vehicle ever does fail one of these tests, bring it to Complete and we will also diagnose the issue and give you a cost estimate to repair what needs fixed. |
