With any repair for your vehicle or automobile, you need a highly trained team of auto mechanics and repairmen certified and experienced to tackle the problem no matter the complexity. You can trust us to only recommend the repair your car needs if we would do the same thing in our automobile. Some auto repair service we perform: AC / heat repairs In the heat of summer or the cold of winter, air conditioning and heat repairs is one of the worst repairs to need on your vehicle. Your vehicle's air conditioning works similar to the AC in your house, except on a smaller scale. A small compressor highly pressurizes a gas called Freon. As a result, the Freon gas gets very cold. This cold is then transferred throughout your vehicle by fans and vents. Sometimes your air conditioning system starts to leak this Freon, causing the system to blow warm air instead of cold air. When this happens, we often recharge the Freon and put a special dye in with the Freon. If the Freon leaks out again, we look for this dye and then know exactly where the problem lies. This dye costs a little more up front, but it can save hundreds in the long term. Your vehicle's heat usually works by blowing air over the hot engine. The burning gasoline in the engine warns the entire engine block and air blown over this engine block heats up. This hot air then circulates throughout your vehicle heating it up in the winter. We specialize in both AC and heat repairs, so give us a call if either system starts having issues in your vehicle. Exhaust and Muffler Repair Services The exhaust system in your vehicle performs the necessary function of moving exhaust (or burnt gasoline) in the form of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from your engine to the outside air. Along the way, the exhaust travels through one or many catalytic converters to convert any toxic carbon monoxide into the safer carbon dioxide, which ultimately gets consumed by plants and trees and turned back into oxygen for us to breathe. When your vehicle's exhaust system starts having trouble, you will often notice a decline in overall power. This takes the form of slower acceleration times, especially when driving uphill. When you start to notice a decrease in the power of your vehicle, you many need exhaust repair or muffler repair. Don't think you need to take your vehicle to a specialized exhaust or muffler repair shop. The auto mechanics at Complete Transmission & Auto can take care of all your exhaust system needs. Call us today to schedule our services. Clutch repairs Your vehicle's clutch is responsible for disengaging the engine so you can shift from one gear to another. Over time, the clutch can wear down and need repaired or replaced. We've fixed hundreds of burnt up or broken clutches and have the experience to fix yours as well. Fuel injections Fuel injectors are used to transfer fuel from your gas take to your engine. These fuel injectors require specific and custom calibration for each engine to ensure just the right amount of fuel gets injected into the engine. Too much fuel and your engine could explode. Too little fuel and it could misfire or fail to start. If your engine has any trouble running reliably, call us today. Shocks and struts Some of the core component of your vehicle's suspension are the shocks and struts. As your vehicle goes up and down hills, hits bumps in the road, goes over railroad tracks, or brakes at a stop light, the shocks and struts act as a buffer to help absorb all the shock. Over time, the shocks and struts go out in vehicles and need to be replaced. We've recently started introducing the use of a "quick" shock that cuts our installation time down significantly, saving you time and money. If you're driving down interstate 270 and instead it feels like you're driving down a terrible dirt road, give us a call so we can inspect your shocks and struts and see if we recommend replacement. Electrical systems Hundreds of wires travel throughout your car controlling everything from the windshield wipers, brake lights, automatic sliding doors, dome lights to the stereo, sensors, computer systems, and GPS. Each new year of vehicles brings more and more electronics into your car. We know the complexity of these electrical systems and the challenge of diagnosing the problem correctly. Through our years of experience, we've learned what it takes to isolate, identify, and discover the electrical system problem in your automobile and get you back on the road. Foreign & Domestic Cars, Trucks, Vans, SUVs Whether you own a foreign vehicle or an American vehicle, our team of certified, experienced auto mechanics know how to get you back on the road in a timely, affordable manner. Give us a call. You won't regret it and your vehicle will thank you for it later. |
